How is VTech Industries different from every other online computer store?
1) We have our own website, not the standard osCommerce template that almost all online stores use
2) We send out all orders from our office, whereas some online stores work purely on a dropshipping basis
3) We only charge you the exact freight cost, whereas other online stores overcharge on freight to gain extra profit
4) We list and sell products from multiple suppliers/distributors
5) We have excellent relationships with all of our suppliers

How do I pay for my purchase?
You can pay by credit card (Visa/Mastercard - 1.4% surcharge) or direct deposit (online or at a branch).

I live in Perth, can I pick my order up and pay cash?
Unfortunately we only operate from an office. There is no store front or showroom and therefore we cannot offer pickup.

How are orders processed?
Credit Card - Once we receive your online order, stock is checked and reservered. Your credit card is then charged. If an item is not available, you are notified before being charged. Soon after, your order is packed, given a consignment number and made ready for delivery. All orders are dispatched between 2-3pm each weekday. When your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email notifying you of this, along with the consignment number (for tracking purposes). Your tax invoice will be attached to your package (unless you request otherwise).

Direct Deposit - Once we receive your online order, a sales order (quote) is created and is emailed to you along with payment details so you can arrange payment. Should a product be out of stock or have no ETA, you will be informed so you have a chance to change or cancel your order. When we have received your confirmation of payment, your stock is reserved. Soon after, your order is packed, given a consignment number and made ready for delivery. All orders are dispatched between 2-3pm each weekday (Order/Payment cutoff time is 12pm). When your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email notifying you of this, along with the consignment number (for tracking purposes). Your tax invoice will be attached to your package (unless you request otherwise).

Will you match or beat a competitors prices?
Our prices are already as low as we can go and therefore we can't offer this service.

Are the online stock levels/indicators live?
No, they are updated once daily (at the end of the day) You can check the home page to see when the product list, prices and stock was last updated

What do the stock indicators actually mean?
Green (In stock) - Item is in stock here and/or good amount of stock available immediately from local supplier
Yellow (Low stock) - Low amount of stock (Usually <5) available immediately from local supplier
Red (No stock) - Not in stock here or at local supplier. Contact us for an ETA

I payed for my order yesterday afternoon and sent proof of payment as requested. Why haven't you shipped my order yet?
Please re-read the payment/delivery information you were sent. It clearly states the payment cutoff time is 12:00pm if you want your order dispatched the same afternoon. If you confirm payment with us after 12:00pm, then your order will be sent out the following afternoon.

How can I contact VTech Industries?
Currently all communication is online, please visit the contact page. We know this is impersonal but it helps us keep track of orders and enquiries. We completely understand why some people may not be comfortable with this and we will be happy to recommend some alternative retailers who can provide such support.

Why isn't there a contact phone number?
Orders and enquiries are much easier to keep track of in email form. Also, its busy enough as it is without having to answer phones all day. How much will delivery cost?
Delivery costs are determined by weight, dimensions, your time requirements and the distance the package needs to travel. Please visit the delivery page for delivery information

Will you build a computer system?
Of course, you can use the system builder or add all the parts you need to the shopping cart and add the appropriate labour to the shopping cart (under the labour category)

What warranties are offered?
All products come with a 12month RTB warranty offered by us (unless stated otherwise). The manufacturer usually offers a warranty too which can extend past the 12 month period we offer. For example -
Xpertvision offer 2yrs warranty on their video cards. This means that for the first year we will deal with the warranty, and for the second year you must contact Xpertvision direct for warranty claims.
