Terms & Conditions - VTech Industries



The use of this website and any purchases made signifies you accept the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions can change at anytime without notice.

All terms and conditions comply with applicable Local Laws and the Trade Practices Act

1. Prices

All prices listed are in Australian dollars ($AUD) and are inclusive of GST. Prices are subject to change without notice and are dependant on stock levels and availability from suppliers. Final pricing is only applied at the time of invoicing. VTech Industries may, at its own descretion, increase prices in the event of a price rise or error made by a supplier. All prices are excluding delivery unless stated otherwise. Although rare, errors in pricing can occur and VTech Industries can refuse a sale if the advertised price is incorrect.

 

2. Placing an order

Placing an order with VTech Industries signifies you agree to the terms and conditions listed here. All orders are to be placed online through the shopping cart. All orders placed are subject to confirmation and acceptance by VTech Industries. We reserve the right to refuse a sale for any reason. Cancellation of, or changes to any orders will only be accepted if payment hasn't been made. Minimum order amount is $10.00 inc GST. Cancellation of, or changes to a system in the process of being built/tested is not permitted. Stock is only reserved once you have confirmed payment with us, or payment has cleared. If stock runs out before we are able to reserve it for you, you will be offered a refund or a choice of a different item. Although very rare, delays to orders can occur for many reasons such as, but not limited to: unexpected stock issues, problems at the supplier, restricting weather and excessively busy periods.

 

3. Payment

Payment can be made by direct deposit, money order or cheque only. Please make money orders and cheques payable to 'VTech Industries'. All payments are subject to clearance into our bank account and goods will only be dispatched when full amount has cleared. VTech Industries will not be held responsible for any errors or delays by banks while payments are being processed. Ownership of goods does not pass onto the customer until the order has been paid in full. You will be email payment details after you have made your order online.

 

4. Delivery

VTech Industries cannot control couriers and once the goods have been handed over to the courier company, it is the sole responsibility of the courier to deliver the goods. VTech Industries will not be held responsible for delayed delivery, damage or loss while goods are in transit. Delayed delivery and damage or loss of goods is not a reflection of VTech Industries' service. We try our best to dispatch all orders the same or next day after payment has been received. If you experience a problem with a courier company, please contact them first with your concerns, not us. All orders shipped will have adequate static protection and padding material. To keep delivery costs low, we will at our own discretion cut product boxes down to size, or use a smaller box. Also if you order a case and other components, we will pack the components inside the case. Delivery charges are calculated after an order has been placed. 5. Warranty and returns

Please contact warranty@vtechindustries.com.au for all warranty and returns.
All parts are covered by a 12 month RTB (Return to Base) warranty, unless stated otherwise. If you find your part to be faulty within the warranty period you can return it to us in the original packing and with the invoice. The faulty item MUST be received by us on or before the day the warranty expires (exactly 1 year after invoice date). No exceptions whatsoever. We encourage customers to test the faulty part in as many computers as possible before contacting us. We will not issue replacements/refunds for incompatible parts as it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure what they buy is suitable for their requirements. Futhermore we will not exchange or refund your purchase if you change your mind or if you order the wrong part. We do not provide instant replacements, nor will we issue a replacement without first receiving the faulty item back for testing. Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to VTech Industries within 24hrs after delivery. Similarly, if any accessories/cables/cds etc are missing from the packaging it must be reported within 3 days from receiving delivery. Any attempt to open and use an incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer as a adequate substitute and no claim can be raised afterwards by the customer.

The cost of posting the faulty product back to us is the responsibility of the customer. If your part is also tested faulty here, it will be sent to the supplier for replacement or repair. The warranty process can take anywhere from a week to over a month (rarely over a month). Replacements for discontinued products/models are usually quite hard to get, so you may be offered an alternative product of equal or greater performance as the replacement. If no fault is found with the product, the customer is responsible for paying any costs incurred in returning the product to them and a service fee may also apply. VTech Industries will void warranty of any product that has been mishandled, modified or interfered by unauthorized personnel. The removal of any factory seals, serial numbers or warranty stickers will also void the warranty. Warranty is void on physically damaged items. Warranty does not cover damage to other equipment used in conjunction with these goods. All warranties are strictly replacement warranties. However, in the very rare event that we do allow a refund, the item must be DOA and we must be notified within 3 days of the customer receiving the item.

 

6. Website

While all care has been taken in the creation of this website and the listing of products and their prices, errors can occur. Product names, descriptions and specifications are supplied by the manufacturer and supplier. It is the customers responsibility to confirm any product information prior to purchase. While the majority of the pictures of products are accurate, they are for illustration purposes only. The actual product may differ slightly. VTech Industries is not responsible for the content of any external site linked to on this site.

 

7. Privacy

Records of web orders, quotes, invoices, enquiries etc are kept only for use by VTech Industries. Customers' names, email address, postal address, phone numbers etc are all kept confidential and will not be released to any third party. You can review our privacy policy here

 

8. Customers

We treat all our customers equally and in the same manner in which we are treated. Rude and demanding customers who blame us for problems that are beyond our control will be ignored.
